Our Sickle Senna Seed is sourced from standardized ecological medicinal planting bases in Anhui, Jiangsu and Henan. Raw dried senna seeds go through harvesting, sun‑drying, winnowing, manual sorting, impurity removal and fine screening under strict herbal processing standards.
Finished sickle senna seed is rhombic square or short cylindrical seed with inclined two ends. Surface is greenish‑brown to dark brown, smooth and glossy, with obvious raised ridges and symmetrical shallow linear grooves on both sides. Hard and solid texture, compact internal structure. Slight natural clean herbal aroma, mild sweet and bitter taste. Free of mold, rot, empty shrunken seeds, sulfur fumigation and bleaching treatment. Rich in aurantio‑obtusin, chrysophanol, physcion and anthraquinone active compounds.
