Our Great Burdock Fruit is sourced from standardized ecological medicinal planting bases in Hebei, Jilin, Liaoning and Zhejiang. Raw dried arctium lappa fruits go through fruit‑harvesting, sun‑drying, winnowing, manual sorting, impurity removal and fine screening under strict herbal processing standards.
Finished great burdock fruit is long‑obovate, slightly flat and curved seed. Outer skin is grey‑brown with scattered purple‑black spots and several longitudinal ridges, hard pericarp and oil‑rich texture. Slight natural herbal aroma, bitter taste followed by faint spicy sensation. Free of mold, rot, moth‑eaten spots, sulfur fumigation and bleaching treatment. Rich in arctiin, arctigenin, lignans, fatty oils and volatile active compounds. Widely used in traditional herbal compound prescriptions, nourishing formula blending, health‑support raw materials and botanical ingredient supply.
