Our Gambirplant Branchlet is sourced from standardized ecological medicinal planting bases in Guangxi, Hunan and Jiangxi. Raw dried gambirplant branchlets with hooks go through manual sorting, impurity removal, winnowing and fine screening under strict herbal processing standards.
Finished gambirplant branchlet is cylindrical or sub‑square stem segments. Surface is reddish‑brown to purplish‑brown with fine longitudinal wrinkles. Nodes bear paired downward‑curved hooks, or hook only grows on one side. Texture tough, cross‑section shows yellow‑brown bark and hollow or pale yellow‑white pith. Faint odor, mild light taste. Free of mold, moth‑eaten fragments, broken hook‑free debris, sulfur fumigation and bleaching treatment. Rich in rhynchophylline, isorhynchophylline and indole alkaloid active compounds.
