Our Pogostemon Cablin raw materials are sourced from standardized ecological planting bases in Guangdong and Hainan. Fresh whole herb is harvested in summer and autumn, cleaned to remove sediment and sundries, naturally sun-dried and low-temperature dehydrated under strict medicinal processing standards.
Finished Guanghuoxiang features intact stem, leaf and spike; stems are cylindrical with obvious longitudinal ribs; leaves are oval, papery texture, grayish green to tawny; distinct rich aromatic scent, slightly bitter taste. No mildew, rot, broken fragments, moldy spots, bleaching or sulfur fumigation. Rich in patchouli oil, pogostone, flavonoids and volatile oils, widely used in traditional Chinese medicine to eliminate dampness, relieve summer-heat, invigorate stomach and stop vomiting.
